JCL Creed We the members of the Junior Classical League, covenant to hand on the torch of classical civilization in the modern world.  We believe an acquaintance with the civilizations of Greece and Rome will help us understand and appraise this world of today,  Which is indebted to the ancient civilization in its government and laws, literature, language, and arts.  We affirm the JCL experience develops responsibility, fosters brotherhood, PROMOTES ENTHUSIASM!!!, encourages competition, inspires dedication, and enriches our total growth.

Murder Mystery Dinner February 23rd, 3:30pm-5:45pm Free for active members, $5 for supporting members Italian dinner included (indicate dietary restrictions on RSVP) There are enough spots for around 20 people, so RSVP as soon as possible to make sure you will have a spot! If you wish to participate, please fill out the questions on the invitation and return it to Mrs. Bergeron by Thursday, February 15th You will receive your part soon after you turn it in so that you can prepare your characters!

  4. Announcements - JCL shirts are here! Pick it up if you ordered one. If you didn’t, bring $15 to Mrs. Bergeron and you can get one! -Group photo for the yearbook will be at the end of today’s meeting! -State Convention: March 9th and 10th! Registration information coming soon! If you know you will be signing up, please write your name on the clipboard (even if you already filled out the online form). -Minnesota Sandwich Project: taking place some time in mid-March -More details coming soon! -Next Lunch Meeting: Thursday, February 22nd

  5. Guess the Character Try to figure out the historical/mythological character on the card on your back by asking each other questions. Try to connect with people that you haven’t talked to very much! Make some new friends!
