Broad Features of eSWIS-Contd-- • Data is being entered from all Divisions/Data Centers. • Data access is controlled and restricted to authorized users. • Time from data-entering to data-dissemination largely decreased. • Data can be entered offline and it will be sent when online connection is available.

  4. eSWIS- Security Features • Security : To create user or group • Administrative Division: For State, District, Tehsil. • Geographical Hierarchy: For River Hierarchy • Administrative Hierarchy : Agency any offices management • Data types : For different types of parameter • Web hosting to maintain the web application at a Tier III, ISO- 20000-1 and ISO 27000 certified server farm/data center. The system is completely secured from the all types of internet threats • For login in eSWIS login id and password is needed • Different types of permission can be assigned to the User like view only, data entry with edit, save, delete option and data inchrage.
