Girls Get IT is a program aimed at educating and empowering young women in Florida to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). This initiative focuses on information technology (IT) careers and provides resources, mentorship, and opportunities for girls to participate in the Cisco Networking Academy Program. The program also tracks and increases the participation of females in pilot sites, builds a sustainable recruitment and retention model, and has received awards for its marketing campaign.

Branding Produce a cool branded campaign to get girls’ attention, drive them to the Web site, get them hooked. Partner with school guidance counselors to promote the Web site and special GGIT initiatives through posters, brochures, other collateral. Won 3 ADDY Awards in March 08 for promo materials.
