Fiscal Standards and Accountability Committee • There are two standing committees/task forces of the Association (ACBO) are 1) Facilities Task Force and 2) the Fiscal Standards and Accountability Committee. • The Board appoints members to the committee based on a recommendation by the chair in consultation with the Association’s President.  • Every effort shall be made in selecting standing committee members to achieve a level of diversity on each committee based upon district size and organization, geographical location, and expertise of the member in the subject area.  • Status reports of committee meetings are prepared and distributed by the committee chair to the ACBO Board of Directors

Fiscal Standards and Accountability Committee • Purpose: Advise, assist and provide guidance to the Chancellor’s Office on statewide fiscal policy and fiscal matters. • Recent Activities: • Auxiliary Manual • CDAM changes • BAM update • Accounting Advisories • GASB Updates • Statewide Audit Findings

  4. Fiscal Standards and Accountability Committee • The Committee meets at least quarterly at the Chancellors Office. • The Committee is comprised of 11 members (6 District CBOs and 5 District directors of fiscal).

  5. Fiscal Standards and Accountability Committee • The 6 District CBOs are comprised by: • Chair • 1 Single College District CBO from the north • 1 Multi College District CBO from the north • 1 Single College District CBO from the south • 1 Multi College District CBO from the south • 1 at large District CBO

  6. Fiscal Standards and Accountability Committee • The 5 District Directors of Fiscal are comprised by: • 1 Single College District Director from the north • 1 Multi College District Director from the north • 1 Single College District Director from the south • 1 Multi College District Director from the south • 1 at large District Director

  7. Fiscal Standards and Accountability Committee • The committee is comprised of 11 members.
