Properties • Some synod assignments have changed since November. • Registration still changing. • You (and all participants) will receive the assignments by May 15.
Properties • Chairs • When space allows, we MAY be able to use chairs. • Not every synod wants to use chairs. • All three synods using the same space would have to agree. We cannot change the set up from one day to the next.
PropertyA room floor plan will be available online by May, 2015. The floor plan will designate locations for the musicians, altar area, boxed in font, communion stations, tech area, sacristy and chairs (if used).

A list of names and phone numbers for people related to your ballroom space should be available by May 15, 2015. The list will contain: • Property Manager Name • Synod Day Directors who are using the room on a different day • Proclaim Story Day Office information

Video/Music Resources All video and music resources will be mailed to you on a flash drive by the end of April. All music will be a video with lyrics, performed by Rachel Kurtz. Sheet music will be provided for musicians by end of April

Expenses • $500 Stipend For Travel and Housing • Payable to your synod office. • There are no reimbursements to you before, during or after the Gathering.
Tech/Musicians • Musical leadership for Proclaim Story at the Gathering can take many forms: • An instrumental/vocal track will be provided for each synod. No additional leaders are necessary. • A solo leader that works with the recorded track and/or her/his own music.
Tech/Musicians • Musical leadership for Proclaim Story at the Gathering can take many forms: • A band of instrumentalists and vocalists. You are not required to recruit live leadership for the worship music. But if you do, the intention of live musical leadership is to connect congregations and participants more deeply to their synod.
Tech/Musicians • We encourage you to consider the following: • Lift up high school youth as part of the leadership • Find musical leader(s) that represent the unique gifts and expressions from your synod
Tech/Musicians • Recruit musical leader(s) that are registered for the Gathering. Must have a wristband.
Tech/Musicians • Any expenses related to musical leadership beyond the instrumental/ vocalist track that is provided is the responsibility of the synod. There is no money in the Proclaim Story budget (including your “synod funds”) to compensate musical leaders any part of the Gathering.
Tech/Musicians • Musicians will be instructed to contact their Synod Day Director for information on sound checks and set up for your Proclaim Story day.
Tech/Musicians • If you DO have musical leader(s) as part of your Proclaim Story Day, the Tech and Talent team wants to support you in making them sound good! • A Google Form on the Director’s website will be available very soon. This form is where you will fill out all you your musical leadership information.
Tech/Musicians • The Tech and Talent Team will provide an appropriate sound system for the musical leadership you are providing (sound board, microphones, mic stands, speakers, monitors) in your ballroom. • Musical Leader(s) need to provide their own instruments, bass amps, and other specialized equipment required.
Building Your Team • Every synod is unique. • It is up to each Synod Day Director to develop a team that reflects the synod in which they serve and meets the needs of their context.
Building Your Team • You are welcome to have as many team members as you would like. • Must have a wristband • Your team should reflect the diversity in your synod • Include youth!
