Main Characters: • Hansel • Gretel • Cruel Stepmother • Wicked Witch Setting: Where: near a forest When: many years ago 2. A wicked witch took the children as prisoners. She wanted to cook and eat them. Title and Author: Hansel & Gretel By The Grimm Brothers • Supporting Characters • Father • A bird • Problem! • The cruel stepmother didn’t want the children. She left the children in the forest. • Solution • Hansel's stones helped the children find their way home. What would you do? 2. Gretel pushed the witch into the oven. A bird helped the children find their way home.
