4 Phases of Project Management • Planning • Scheduling • Controlling • Closing

Scheduling • It includes giving a form to the planned activities by assigning proper duration and resources. • After intense discussion with the team members involved, the layout of scheduling is designed which involves important project elements like number of steps in which the project would be completed.
Project Controlling • Each project has a start date and an end date. The project controlling is done to avoid deviation between these two dates. • The major role of this step is to make sure that the project does not exceeds its completion date. • It includes re-planning, re-scheduling, controlling flow of resources etc.
Project Closing • This is the last phase of the project management cycle. • It is the phase in which the project is successfully delivered to the client and declared complete by the company. • At this phase, most of the time conflicts occur between the one who delivers and the one who accepts.
