  2. Commutative Property Commutative property of addition A + B = A + B Ex 4 + 9 = 9 + 4 And for multiplication is the same A x B = A X B Ex 4 X 9 = 9 X 4

  3. Associative Property Associative property of addition ( a + b ) + c = a + ( b + c ) Ex : ( 6 + 4 ) + 5 = 6 + ( 4 + 5 ) And for multiplication is the same ( a . b ) . c = a . ( b . c ) Ex ( 6 . 4 ) . 5 = 6.( 4 . 5 )

  4. Identity property Identity property of addition a + o = a Ex 6 + 0 = 6 And for multiplication is the same Ex 1 . 6 = 6

  5. Mean For the mean you have to add the numbers and then divide by the number of the numbers Ex : 2 + 3 +4 + 10 + 5 = 24 24 / 5 = 4.8

  6. Median For the median you have to look for the number in the middle Ex : 2 3 4 10 5 22 77 10 is the median

  7. Mode For the mode you have to look for the number that occurs most often Ex 3 4 5 77 22 92 3 The mode is the number 3

  8. Geometry • Geometry has many uses. It is used whenever we ask questions about the size, shape, volume, or position of an object. As a school subject, it helps develop logical reasoning. Architects and engineers use geometry in planning buildings, bridges, and roads. Geometry is used by navigators to guide boats, planes, and even space ships. Military personnel use geometry to guide vessels and aim guns and missiles. Almost everything you do in your daily life involves geometry in some way!

  10. Some Nice Algebra Even if numbers are not enough to represent an amount ALGEBRA can give us a hand!!! Finding the slope of a line allows us to determine its steepness

  11. CONCLUSIONS Not only Mathematics turns out to be a fundamental tool to develop our brain but it provides individuals with the ability to interact and create a better world where technology and progress are the common denominator!!
