UV Lamp (Cont.) • The lamp is the heart of the UV system. • Lamp power is up to 200 W/cm (36kW). • The lamp, by nature, cannot be switched On or Off instantly. • When the machine is in Idle mode: • The lamp switches to the reduced power level of 30%. • The shutters are closed. • Lamp’s operating temperature is 650°C - 850°C.
