3. Examples Yo hice mi cama por la mañana. (I made my bed in the morning) María quiso ir de vacaciones a México. (Maria wanted to go to México for vacation) Nosotros vinimos tarde de la fiesta. (We came late from the party)

4. Verbs with a “j” in the preterit stem All verbs ending in “–ducir” and the verbs “decir” and “traer” have a “j” in the preterit stem and use the ending “-eron” instead of “-ieron” in the third person plural form. *The verb Decir has two stem changing in the preterit: “i” and “j”.

5. Examples Yo dije la verdad. (I said the truth) Ellos trajeron comida a la fiesta. (They brought some food to the party) Luis tradujo libros de inglés a español. (Luis translated books from English to Spanish)
