GOVT. MOTOR FLEET FUNCTIONS • Provide transport services to national and provincial Depts • Purchase of new vehicles • Registering and licencing of the Provincial Pool Fleet • Maintaining Government Fleet to comply with Road Transportation Regulation • Disposal of redundant fleet • Administration of accident claims for and against the state • Development of Provincial Subsidized Vehicle Policy • Ensuring timeous revenue collection • Ensuring Driver proficiency

LEGAL SERVICES FUNCTIONS • Render legal advice to the EA, DDG and Line • function Managers • Give legal opinion on matters affecting the Dept. • Keep track of developments in various fields of law • Prepare draft legislation • Liaise with State Attorney’s Off, CD: Legal Service Premier’s Off. • Follow Labour Law dev + inform Mxt accordingly
