Self-awareness, our ability to perceive and understand our emotions and why we are having them. Step 2. Self-regulation, our ability to control our emotions Step 3. Empathy, our ability to put ourselves in others shoes. Step 4. Motivation, how well we motive ourselves to work towards our goals and stay focused. Step 5. Social Skills, our ability to be socially successful, or to have positive relationships.
