  3. AG Progress in the Past 3 Months • iNOW! V2 Profile is now rename to iNOW! Interdomain Profile Version 2.1 • iNOW! Interdomain Test Profile Version 1.0 Approved thru AG Ballot. Will be submitted for IMTC Ballot next week. • iNOW! Interdomain Profile Version 2.1 Released for final review. Will be submitted for AG ballot for approval. • iNOW! Terminal Profile Version 1.0 being actively discussed. Targeting final draft 7/24

  4. Change Summary to Interdomain Profile V2.1 • Gateways shall support the T.38 fax protocol.. Support of UDP/IP is mandatory as well as V.21, V.27ter, V.29 and V.17. Support of TCP/IP is optional. • Gateways shall support the H.245 v4 protocol. Additionally, it shall support the new syntax for fax capabilities as indicated by H.245 v6, and shall not use the syntax indicated by v5 and previous versions.

  5. Summary of Interdomain Profile Test Plan V 1.0 • These are available for use in ad hoc testing at SuperOp. Formal testing is likely to be schedule at future interoperability testing events. • Two scenarios are listed • Scenario 1: Calls between two Peer Administrative Domains • Scenario 2: Calls between two Administrative Domains using a Clearinghouse • Success Criteria & Scoring sheet included

  6. Summary of Terminal Profile V 1.0 • Based on H.323 Annex F, H.323 Annex J, H.323 version 3, and H.225.0 version 3. • Draft out for review, few issues remain • Registration security • Minimum Codec selection • Expected AG ballot 7/23/99

AG Roadmap • IMTC Ballot of Interdomain Profile Test Plan V1.0 • Submit by 9/20/99 • Expected approval by 11/5/99 • AG Ballot for Interdomain Profile V2.1 • Submit by 9/20/99 • Expected approval by 10/6/99 • Terminal Profile V1.0 • Draft Completed 9/24/99 • Submit for AG ballot by 10/4/99 • Expected approval by 10/22 • Other possible iNOW! initiatives as proposed by AG members
