Behaviors for a facilitator - March 2007 Homework done? • Listening to traffic on the network - e-mails/meetings • ‘Bridge’ differences between members - facilitating meetings(municipality-NGOs - river valleys, roads) • Supporting members needs (at present identification of needs) • Checking that information is understood • Motivating cooperative behavior (at present building trust phase/observation vs judgement challenge) • Coaching on the topic of the network (prep stage) • Signaling the availability of resources and opportunities outside the network (international meetings) LA development & facilitation
