  2. My Art Work • This is a great drawing of mine. “Outside of Smitha” • I was inspired by a piece of artwork of him that I saw because it was an asymmetrical artist, the name of the art work was “Open Window”.

  3. My Favorite Artist • I was inspired by Henri Matisse. • Matisse drew Surrealism pictures. He drew things that were found in the real world but made his own version of them.

  4. Who was Henri Matisse? • He was a post impressionist artist because he had great brush stroke paintings, like the one of the four elastic people below. • He drew many pictures of people or portraits of people and they were kind of elastical people.

  5. Henri & Diederich Henri Matisse • He liked to draw real life things in the real world like humans and nature tings. Diederich Rodas • I like to draw things in the real world too because I usually don’t have anything o draw in my head.

Diederich Rodas • I simply draw the nature but correctly and not try to mess it up by making them stretchy. • I drew it with color pencils.

  9. About The Artwork • Style: Nude, nature- he drew nude people and he drew nature. • Media: Oils- Matisse used oils for painting. • Subject Matter: An outside view from a window. • Purpose: Draw an outside view from the window • Outside Influences: Nature’s beauty- he liked the outside world.
