SV1 SERIES CONNECTORS Product Bulletin • • • • • • • • • • • • • • JAE has recently developed the SV1 Series, a new RS-MMC (Reduced-Size-MultiMediaCard) connector standardized by the MMCA (Multi Media Card Association) to meet the trend for further downsizing and weight-reduction of mobile telephones, DSCs, PDAs, navigation systems and other compact portable devices. This connector applies Push-Push mechanism for compactness and excellent functionality as well as double-contact design to reduce current interruption causing card breakdown. FEATURES •Bottom mounting type •Break mechanism to prevent card from flying off •User friendly audible click sound to ensure insertion removal •Reverse insertion prevention structure •Moderate shielding secured by 4 hold-downs placed on cover •Card insertion/removal detection structure •Supplied in embossed tape •Compatible to Multimedia Card •Dual point contact type for power contacts to reduce intermittent discontinuity Enclosed you will also find a copy of the CPI and JACS for the series.
