2. Who is in community club? Anyone can join community club. You just sign up in the beginning of the year, and you are in. Mrs. Bischoff is a fifth grade teacher at Beers Street School, but she is also head of the community club. Mrs. Bischoff plans the activities and decides how to contribute to the community.

3. Pet Fair The pet fair is a event that the community club hosts at the school. In the pet fair they have a bake sale, a gift auction, goodie bags, and pet contests. You can take home a souvenir for $5 each. They also let you adopt a pet, so you will have a cute new friend. There is a play area for cats and dogs, where they are many toys and pools for the dogs. You may also take your dog to the spa there, where they will be groomed for a great price of $5 to $10. Donations and proceeds benefit: Monmouth ASPCA.

4. How do they help the community? At community club you help out by planting trees and flowers. They also pick up litter and trash. They contribute to the community in many helpful and kind ways.

5. Nursing home Each year the community club visits the nursing home. They either visit during school or after, and sometimes even both. When they are there they sing to the people, they also play games and have snacks with them. The seniors enjoy having the kids visit, and makes them feel like they are remembered.
