  2. Spring Getting Involved Fair • Thanks to all who came out to Volunteer • It was successful and fun • Your Hours have been added on OrgSync and you should have received confirmation for that. • If you didn’t receive confirmation then, you are not on orgsync yet.

  3. DREAM TEAM SHIRTS • Shirts will be ordered tomorrow • Should get here by next meeting • SGA Funds have been received from last semesters “Music and its Messages” Forum • Names will be on the back left shoulder • Design will be talked about.

  4. Cookout Saturday February 12th, 2011 Iota’s are hosting Dream Team and other org’s that volunteered Location is the Iota House Starts at 3:00 p.m.

  5. QUAKE GSU UNDERGROUND • Volunteers will be needed to host the event • Auditions will take place on the 21st and the 22nd • Promotions will start as soon as the flyers are produced. • Every Member must promote on facebook, twitter, word-of-mouth, and flyer distributions

  6. MISS GSU • The 63rd annual Miss Georgia Southern University Scholarship Pageant is being held on Friday, February 11 at 7 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center. Admission is free, and audience members will have the chance to winpackages from TanTastic Tanning and Serenity Day Spa totaling over $200! • This is a long-standing tradition that every GSU student should experience! The winner of the competition will go on to compete at the Miss Georgia pageant in June.

  7. SHUTTLE GUS • Affiliations with Iota’s • Opportunity for DT to earn $300 • Other fundraiser ideas????? • Mike Daley – Food Collection (500lbs) for local charities.

  8. Leadership Awards & Recognition Night • Does your student organization have exemplary leaders? Did your organization produce an outstanding program this past year? Did you participate in a great community service project?If so, nominate your student leaders, your student organizations, your advisors, or yourself for student leadership and student organization awards. Visit http://students.georgiasouthern.edu/leadership/leadership/leadershipawards.htm for the “Awards Nomination and Application Packet.”All nominations and application materials are due no later than March 4th, 2011 by 5:00 PM. Nominations and applications can be hand delivered to the Office of Student Leadership & Civic Engagement, Russell Union Room 2024 or mailed to P.O. Box 8114.If you have any questions concerning the information required, please call 478-1435, or e-mail your questions to leader@georgiasouthern.edu.Thank you for taking the time to nominate our outstanding student leaders and student organizations!

  9. Spring 2011 Dues • First time payments will be $20 for both new and old members. • If you paid last semester you will receive your shirts and it will be $15 for this semester • DUE ASAP!!!!!

  10. MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS • In order to be considered a member and have your hours signed off and approved: • Must be a paid member. • Applications must be filled out completely and turned in. • Participation in all events. 2 events minimum. • Attendance to all meetings, special circumstances are being considered. All in good standing must register to OrgSync.
