ACHIEVEMENTS TO-DATE AT RUTGERS • A software modeling tool, QTEStool, has been written in C++, including classes that implement • QTES models (innovations, distortions, stitching, etc.) • statistics (histograms, autocorrelation functions, empirical and simulation sample paths) • GSLO searches (others are under investigation) • A simple GUI in Visual Basic has been implemented • model construction • model searches to fit empirical data • statistics computation and display • Parallelization algorithms for GSLO searches have been designed • interleaving method • segmentation method
FUTURE WORK AT RUTGERS • Speeding up QTES modeling algorithms • implementation of parallelization methods and comparison of their performance • investigation of alternative modeling methods • Integration of QTEStool and TELPACK • integration under the Unix environment • testing of combined performance for a complete software suite implementing the full “from-data-to-performance” cycle • Documentation • software documentation • methodology documentation
