  3. Common Module – why? • Difficult to engage in long-term exchange • Evaluation (individual) • Allows teacher exchanges • Benchmarking between academies: exchange good practices • Converging curricula (long term)

  4. Common Module – what? All military training is aimed at making a robot out of you! Who else – in his right mind – would run towards somebody who is shooting at him (Ben Bova)

  5. Common Module – what? • Common interest; • Can be organized by ≠ MS • Academic OR vocational • Short-term exchange (anywhere between 3 days to two weeks) • Modular OR integrated in semester

  7. Common Module – when? • Announce during IG meeting and/or ESDC SC • Plan sufficiently up front to allow for budget planning • European month/period? • Best suited: Oct/Nov or March to May (avoid exam periods) • Preferably not earlier than 3rd Bachelor year
