ICES SMART IEDSS Current State Future State FACTS Benefits of IEDSS • One system, one log in • Enhanced functionality • Optimized processes for Reception Log, Scheduling, Data Collection, Tasking, and more! • Robust Online Help tool Today, you use multiple systems to do all of your work. Eventually, you will access ONE system. During Pilot and the rollout phases, you still may have access to ICES and your legacy systems depending on your role/job duties. However, the key takeaway is that IEDSS will replace multiple systems so you can do your work in ONE system.

  3. DID YOU KNOW? Page Help IEDSS Online Help provides you with: • Page Help • Field Help • How To Help Access Page Help using the Right Menu for a description of the page, tips/tricks, plus field descriptions.

  4. DID YOU KNOW? How To Help Field Help Access Field Help by clicking on the label of the field you wish to view in the system to access a brief description of that field. Access How To Help by clicking the Help button on the bottom of a page in IEDSS. Access a robust library divided by chapters/subchapters to access 200+ topics including Data Collection, Scheduling, Task Management, etc. Remember: All of IEDSS Training Materials are also saved in How To Help in the Training Materials chapter.

Training Deep Dive Samantha’s Journey One of eligibility’s comprehensive cases… • Introduces workers to how a Health Coverage application is processed in IEDSS • Provides hands on experience using Data Collection, specifically Income sub-module and Relationship pages • Showcases picking up tasks and marking tasks as “In Progress” • Allows workers to create manual tasks • Provides more experience with case actions and adding a program • Introduces File Clearance to associate an existing case to a new application (SNAP/TANF) • Introduces workers to the Pregnancy pages Module 4 Module 5 Yum!
