ECO STYLE Logo Usage • Eco Style is the only eco related logo that can be used. • We may no longer use Eco Innovation. • Logo to be used only as a symbol of environmental management. • Logo may only be used on materials that are eco-related and contain specific information about environmental management practices with the exception of business cards. • Eco Style logo may NOT be used on promotional items, giveaways, etc. Representing Toshiba’s environmental commitment
ECO STYLE Logo Usage • Logo may be used only as a symbol of environmental management. • General Information: • These guidelines are an interim measure, subject to change with the finalization of the proposed FTC ‘Green Guides’ • Logo use is mandatory, consistent with “conditions of usage” listed below. • The Toshiba ECO STYLE logo is the only logo to be used as a symbol of Toshiba’s environmental management. Placement of logos representing 3rd party certifications, such as ENERGY STAR or EPEAT, are exceptions to this rule. • Guidelines are uniform for all TAI Companies • Conditions of Usage: • Logo may only be used on documents that contain substantive, specific, non-deceptive information about actual environmental management practices. • Except on business cards, logo must be accompanied by the following statement: “Representing Toshiba’s environmental commitment.” • Logo must not be used in conjunction with product marketing or product advertising. • All external uses of the logo, except for use on business cards, must be approved by a company’s legal department and the company’s Environmental Management Representative prior to each use. • Logo use must conform to Toshiba style guidelines for application of the mark (color, font, etc.)
Examples of where it’s okay to use eco logo • Include only on pages describing environmental management in CSR reports, annual reports, and corporate brochures. Representing Toshiba’s environmental commitment CSR Report Environmental Report

Press releases • Eco Style logo should be placed on press releases that specifically detail the efforts being made to promote environmental management. Representing Toshiba’s environmental commitment
