Overview of the work performed Workshops 14 september, Lausanne Morning : workshop with project partners presentation of the results drawn from InterSTICEs Thematic discussions : success factors, ressources and teaching & learning activities, sustainability, forums Afternoon : portal-training for Girafe partners 28 september, afternoon, CVS days, Neuchâtel : The importance of pedagogical support in E-learning project development
Background tasks & Ongoing steps • Building of a community of Practice • (Making the most of the results and insights drawn from the IntersTICEs mandate) • One meeting a month between Girafe members: • Exchange of experience • Partners formulate the nature of the support needed for themselves and e-learning project partners • Discussion on next steps to be taken • Design and continuous improving of a collaborative space (CMS – portal) http://girafe.unige.ch • Pooling and organization of ressources in the portal: General issues & step by step practical advising
Forthcoming steps • Organization of Training periods • Four thematic training days addressed to e-learning project partners • support activitieson themes and practical issues chosen according to expressed needs (success factors, ressources and teaching & learning activities, sustainability, designing of environments) • Designing of a « certifying » continuous professional training for e-learning project partners • Thematic day for girafe partners (support to centres)
Forthcoming steps • Expansion and sustainability of the network • Incorporation of other units in Girafe : • Faculty of theology in Geneva • French speaking FNL community • University of Montréal • Involvement in national and international networks • Investigations in order to find later financings
