Why a Governing Board? The governing board manages the NPMA Certification Program. The board is made up of at least one public member, NPMA members holding the certifications of CPPS, CPPA, CPPM and NPMA members not certified. The Board is tasked to: Write Policies and Procedures Create a Certification Handbook Achieve and then maintain Accreditation for NPMA certifications Update Certification Manuals, test questions and statistical data Certification Governing Board (CGB)
Effective 12/31/2012 individuals that have achieved the CPPS certification must now submit proof of renewal/continuance requirements every five years just like the CPPA and CPPM certifications The Certification Continuance and Lifetime Renewal Application requirements were updated effective 3/1/2013 What’s New from the CGB?
