  10. The woodwind section of the 8th grade band WILL meet after school today in the band room.

  11. The results of Smart's Mill's mock election are in.  Students in all three grades participated in this year's mock election.

  12. Students in all three grades voted to re-elect Barack Obama as their president.  The approximate average was Obama 58% to Romney with 42%.

  17. Recycle your old printer cartridges here and help raise money for Smart’s Mill.

  18. For every printer cartridge we recycle, we get $2.00 store credit at Staples. That can add up to a lot of school supplies for our teachers and staff!!!

  19. Grab your scissors and keep an eye out for the Box Tops for Education logo on the products you use every day. For every Box Top you clip, our school will receive 10 cents. That may not sound like a lot, but it adds up quickly.

  20. Bring your Box Tops for Education to your Focus teacher.  The focus group that collects the most will get a prize provided by the PTA
