  1. Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980, 86, 90 (CERCLA or Superfund) By Andrew Duval and Tom Mostar

  2. Enforced as a national act by the EPA. • This act is a federal fund to assist and deal with the clean up of hazardous waste sites, accidental chemical spills, and forgotten and abandoned waste dumping sites.

  3. This act deals with the problem of unauthorized dumping and clean up of these materials to protect the environment. • The agency responsible for this act is the EPA. In hopes that this superfund will financially support the war against waste.
