  3. Size impact on the industrialisation 2012-2013 Increasing of the sizes : - > Class 12 Forward Still standard size but the control of the sanding of grooves for resistivelinesisverydifficult and do not give a perfect flat surface. => Necessity to process the Resistivelines by  screen printing 

  4. Limit « standard » size : Compass Pixel MM plus : 600 X 800 Lowthickness : 0,2 MM => very flexible and fragile board Fine lines / Fine space Small diameterHoles

  6. Main issue : Distribution of the holes

GEOAZUR • Size = 610 X 1220 • In this case we « touch » the limits of ourprocess in term of sizes: • Drilling : Distribution issues • Metalization : The Horizontal equipment has to bemodified to be able to processthislength and higher. • Lay-up : The tools have to beadapted • ( VPI machine) • Routing : samecomments as drilling

  8. GEOAZUR • Status : • Working on the screen printing process : • 2 alternatives : • Subcontracting the operation : Ongoing but not very confident on the results • To start a new machine installed in Elvia : The machine isnowoperationnal We plan to test different mask in textile and inox

  10. ATLAS • Before to start, few points to think about : • Sizes : 2200 x 500 mm • Image transfert : ok the equipmentisavalaible • Lay-up : size limitation : 2000 mm ! • Optical inspection : not available • Screen printing : 1200 mm max
