  1. Breakout Session Summary: Planning for a Future Nonnative Fish Chat and for Nonnative Fish Surveys John Galvez (FWS) & Kelly Gestring (FWC)

  2. Objective Plan a one to two day Fish Chat meeting and coordinate an Everglades nonnative fish survey in the upcoming year. The Fish Chat is designed to share results of current work with nonnative fish species in south Florida. The survey will be conducted by ECISMA partners in areas of the Everglades that have not been sampled for nonnative fish and will follow protocol used in 2014.

FISH CHAT 2 day event; 1 day presentations, discussions, etc., 1 day fieldwork (localized and low key), Pam S. to organize fieldwork Meeting format; brief presentations in am, selected topics in pm, social afterwards Venue: ENP Krome Center Date: 1st two weeks in November (JK to send out a Doodle poll.)

  4. Pinecrest Gardens Peteniasplendida (bay snook) Central american cichlid In two locations, one with outlet to Snapper Creek Canal on saltwater side of S-22 structure How to remove bay snook and unwanted exotics (hook and line, seine, seine, castnet,)

  5. Pinecrest (cont.) Follow-up electrofishing in saltwater side of Snapper Creek Try to conduct effort in August J. Kline and K. Gestring to coordinate

  6. Exotic fish surveys Repeat 2014 effort but select new canals Conduct in April and May Standardize methods a little more? ENP, FWC, USGS, USFWS cooperators
