Adding Animation to a SlideAnimation is the movement of the words or pictures in a slide as it is presented in the slide show 1. First click on the animations tab on the top menu bar 2. Select the slide you want animation for 3. then highlight the text you want to move. 4. Click on the drop down arrow next to the words No Animation. It will give you five options.
No Animation is means nothing moves. • The Fade feature will make the words begin very light and move into full font view. If you scroll over the feature it will give you an example of it. • The Wipe feature moves from one direction to another. When you click on it a dialog box will appear at the right hand side of your screen. • From this box you can choose • how the animation starts • Choose the direction • Choose the speed
The Custom animations tab gives you many more options for how to move your text and pictures. These options will appear Click on the Add Effects button The entrance effects are how the picture or text enter into the slide. There are four levels of options to choose from: basic, subtle, moderate and exciting. Click on the word or icon to add the effect. To change the effect choose another one. Click on the OK button to activate final selection.
Adding Transition to a SlideTransition is the movement of the slide as it is goes from one slide to another slide presented in the slide show To add Transitions click on the Animations tab on the main menu. Click on the drop down arrow to see all the option icons. Here is what the box will look like.
First select the slide you want to transition. Then select one of the icon for how the slide will move. Next select the transition sound by clicking on the drop down arrow
To add sounds to your transitions click on the drop down menu next to the “no sound” box. The options will appear. Hover over the sound to hear an example On this the camera sound was selected Then choose how to advance the slide On this one On Mouse Click is selected.
Here the Automatically After ten seconds is selected After you select a time you can rehearse the timings Click on the Slide show tab on the menu bar Click on the Rehearse Timings tab A timer will start as the slide show is shown Press the pause icon on the timer where you want the slide to stop Press the arrow on the left two times to advance to the next slide. The far right timer times the whole presentation whereas the left timer times the slides.
