Archimedes: Good evening, ladies and germs! Germs…heh heh… just a little scientific humor there for you (slaps his knee). I crack myself up! My name is Archimedes. Of course, you know that already, I’m sure. After all, I am without a doubt the first and no doubt the greatest scientist, mathmetician, physicist, engineer, inventor and astronomer of all time! Einstein: Well, you certianly have the theory of wind down…wind, as in hot air. I’m Albert Einstein, Nobel Prize-winning scientist AND the greatest scientist of all time! My theory of relativity changed the course of history!
Newton: Hello! Hello! Issac Newton here. No Newton…no telescope! Right Galileo? Galileo: Yes, Newton, I know but I took that telescope to new heights! Louis Pasteur: How about my work with germs? Sigmund Freud: Forget it Pasteur! It is I, Sigmund Freud who changed the course of scientific thought. (All the scientists start arguing about who made the greatest contribution to science)
Student 1: Guys! Guys! GUYS!! Quiet! Stop arguing. (all the scientists stop to look at her) Pasteur: And who, pray tell, are you? Student 1: I’m __________, and I, too, am a scientist. Freud: You? A scientist? Student 1: Yes! In fact all of us here today are scientist and we’re learning all sorts of fascinating things about science.
Newton: Well, I did like that song you were singing. (He sings a few bars of it and dances a little) “Rock it, rock it! All you got to do is rock it!” Student 2: Yes, we’re having a great time learning all sorts of things that perhaps some of you didn’t even know. Archimedes: Hmph! What could you know what I don’t know. Student 3: Well, the Earth is round for one thing
Archimedes: Really? Student 4: And how about the difference between soilds, liquids, and gas? Galileo: Fascinating! Tell us all about it!
