  2. Appearance • Reindeer have dark fur in the summer. They also have light fur in the winter. Reindeer have white tails and necks.

  3. Reindeer size • Reindeer are about four feet tall at there shoulder. And about six feet long. Reindeer are smaller then caribou. They are a type in the deer family.

  4. Hooves • Reindeer hooves look like a upside heart . There hooves keep them from sinking. There hooves helps them find food in the winter .

  5. Foods Reindeer eat moss, lichens, leaves, and herbs. Reindeer are a type of herbivores because they are a plant eater.

  6. Habitat • Reindeer live in the Arctic tundra, Mountains in Russia , Forests , Northern China , and Canada. Where they live is cold. There habit keeps them from predators.
