Challenging the model How does this affect people with HIV or other disabilities? Are agencies placing all clients? Are single placements ideal? Do people have adequate access? Are we measuring true successes? Are social supports identifiable?
Health and Employment Is employment correlated to positive health outcomes for people with HIV and other disabilities? We live in a society where people are more valued if they are employed or have a career. Rising above poverty is envisioned with employment. Remaining active has both physical and mental health benefits.
Final Product A multi-stakeholder model is ultimately a “best practice” model.
