Stony Brook Update. SB Crew Oct 9, 2007. Quick Update. The 1471 Lecroy module we were using seems to have gone bad somehow. the mainframe can’t recognize that it’s plugged in. Bob brought over 2 more, they seem to work fine module has been modified with Greg’s trip circuit.

Quick Update • The 1471 Lecroy module we were using seems to have gone bad somehow. • the mainframe can’t recognize that it’s plugged in. • Bob brought over 2 more, they seem to work fine • module has been modified with Greg’s trip circuit. • WN3 finished stability test with flying colors. • Also took gain vs voltage curve, it’s exponential. • Unfortunately, upon install, mid gem developed a short. • ~50 GOhm • let WN3 mid cook??? • New stack in gain test box... • individual tests: GOOD • draws 50-100 nA when through chain. • Gain is low by factor of ~3 • Gain does not rise with time like usual. Very stable, constant. • could this be due to H2O in gems? Never pumped vacuum on these gems…
