  5. VCM 9.85 Immobilizer • Warranty start date? • “WARRANTY NOT STARTED” is written into the display • Intermittent buzzer 15 sec each 30 sec • Yellow warning ON. • Menu disabled

  6. VCM 9.85 Immobilizer • 1. Spare Keys request • 2. The system disable the IC M12 (Trakker/Eurocargo) or the IC SPR2 (Stralis) by means of the Warranty Start Date procedure • 3. Key Learning Procedure • 4. The system asks the IVECO CS Operator to insert each key used in the previous key learning procedure • 5. The system verifies if the number of the key inserted is equal to the number of keys used in the procedure and if the IDEs are different one from the other • 6. The system enable the IC Color by means of Warranty State Date procedure • 7. The system creates the tracebility record and sends it to esom database

  7. VCM 9.85 Immobilizer VCM replacement • In case of VCM replacement will be not necessary the key replacement. • IMMO code can’t change for vehicle life • In case of VCM replacement RSS will read the key ID in ESOM (RSS server) and automatically the correct key codes will be written into the new VCM. • The procedure: VCM recognizes the new ECM via easy stand alone still remain the same. Key replacement • When replacing / adding new keys will need to use the store procedure keys. The keys that are not passed within the procedure will be canceled by the ESOM and ECU but will not be included in any BLACK LIST. • Is possible to store one key already cancelled.

  8. VCM 9.85 CC gap • The cruise control automatically maintains the speed of the vehicle without using the accelerator pedal. If the vehicle speed should increase more than 2 km / h compare to the setting (eg, because the road is downhill) to slow the vehicle the engin brake is automatically activated. If you speed increase more than 4 km / h intarder is also actvated • The "Downhill Cruise Control GAP", present on all Stralis Euro VI with OPT Conventional Cruise Control installed on a vehicle, allows to delay the operation of the engine brake and intarder (fixed 2km/h 4km/h on vehicles without this feature) of a speed threshold varies between +2 and +20 k /h higher than the original CC speed,

  9. VCM 9.85 CC gap • Pressing the key on the dashboard you can change the speed threshold (varying between +2 and +20 km/h) function "Downhill Cruise Control GAP" . The setting is allowed witk K-ON. • The button GAP + serves to increase the intervention threshold of engine brake and intarder compared to the feeding speed set via CC • The GAP-button serves to reduce the response threshold of engine brake and intarder compared to the feeding speed set via CC Note: the value of the selected speed, or the one currently used is shown on the diplay of the instrument panel.

  16. Funzione ECO PNEUMATICI iECO ECOSWITCH • AERODINAMICA Eurotronic con ECOFLEET ENGINE EEV Ottimizzati DRIVELINE Ottimizzata ECOSWITCH di serie anche con cambio manuale

  17. Funzione ECO ECO functions available for: Cursor 9: 310, 330, 360, 400HP Cursor 11: 420, 460, 480HP Cursor 13: 500, 560HP Gearbox: manual, EuroTronic (no Allison gearbox) Suspension: all

  18. Funzione ECO (*) In EOL programming, ECO speed limiter is automatically set to “primary speed limiter minus 5 km/h”. Both values can be set individually by Customer Service tool. It is also possible to set the ECO speed limiter exactly equal to primary speed limiter, so that ECOSWITCH has no impact on speed limitation at all. Is important to remark that the main fuel saving is due to the reduction of maximum cruise speed (3 to 5% from 90 to 85km/h in constant speed tests)

  19. ECOFLEET (for vehicles equipped with EuroTronic) This function is default for all the vehicles with ECOSWITCH and automated gearbox. When the Eco mode is activated, the use of manual mode is restricted. That means manual gear selection is possible at standstill (for starting gear correction), at low vehicle speeds (below 30 km/h) and time limited available during driving. It is possible to switch via button “D” for 60 seconds in the auto-suspended mode: the driver is able to drive for one minute in manual mode. Just before the minute is over, an acoustic warning sounds up. Then the gearbox recalculates the driving resistance and the target gear. If the calculated target gear is not equal to the actual gear, a correction shifting occurs. The driver has always the possibility to switch via button “D” back to the ECOFLEET mode even if the minute is not yet over. It’s possible to deactivate the ECOFLEET function via customer Service.
