Worship: Coming and Going • You may have heard many lessons before about the importance of coming to a worship service (Psa. 27:4; 84:10; 122:1) • Have you ever heard a lesson about the importance of leaving the worship service? • What good is it to come to Jesus, if you are going to leave unchanged (Mt. 19:22)?

  3. Worship: Coming and Going • Luke 18:9-14 • There will always be similarities and differences among the people who come to a worship service • One had a self-righteous attitude, the other a humble attitude • Both came to pray to God and both went home; one satisfied, the other justified

  4. Going Home from Worship • Will you be going home today “justified” (Lk. 18:14)? • Will you be going home today “edified” (1 Cor. 14:26) • Will you be going home today “joyful” (2 Cor. 9:7)Eph. 3:16; 5:18-19) • Will you be going home today “filled with the Spirit” (Eph. 3:16; 5:18-19)?
