Worship: Coming and Going • Luke 18:9-14 • There will always be similarities and differences among the people who come to a worship service • One had a self-righteous attitude, the other a humble attitude • Both came to pray to God and both went home; one satisfied, the other justified
Going Home from Worship • Will you be going home today “justified” (Lk. 18:14)? • Will you be going home today “edified” (1 Cor. 14:26) • Will you be going home today “joyful” (2 Cor. 9:7)Eph. 3:16; 5:18-19) • Will you be going home today “filled with the Spirit” (Eph. 3:16; 5:18-19)?
