  1. HID2404CZ/CL Upgrade Method for over H/W V1.3 Upgrade Keyboard using j-box RS-232 null modem cable 4. Turn off and unplug upgrade cable and turn on the KBD . Press AUX1, AUX2, AUX3, AUX4 and press ENTR when input password screen. 5. Go to Factory default and move the joystick to right direction to clear data. 1. Set “DVR/AUX : NONE” at KBD setting 2. Holding and pressing “CTRL” and “ESC” keys at the same time, turn the keyboard on or insert the cable of the “DATA1”. You can see as below. • When you never upgrade and have over F/W V2.0, you can use this method. • Upgrade can be possible over than H/W V1.3 . • Under H/W V1.3, Upgrade should be done by ISP B/D at the next page. • You can find the H/W version on the top of the PCB. 3. Run “FastraxFlash.exe” and set “Dome Baudrate” to “38400” and Click “Scan Dome”. and open new F/W data(*.mot) and Click “Upload File” RS-232 null modem cable D-SUB TO D-SUB FEMALE FEMALE 2 -------- 3 3 -------- 2 5 -------- 5

Open Flash Development Toolkit 3.1 and click “OK” 7. Click “Next”. 4.Enter “22.1184” at the CPU crystal frequency and click “Next”. 8. Click right button of mouse on created project file and click “Add file…”. 2. Type Workspace Name and click “OK” 5. Click “Next”.

When upgrade is complete, you can see below massage. Turn off the K/B and unplug ISP B/D 9. Select new version software file and Click “Add”. 10.Click right button of mouse on added Target file and click “Download File”. The unit should be power on. 12. When upgrade is complete, turn off the K/B and unplug ISP B/D and turn on the K/D . Press AUX1, AUX2, AUX3, AUX4 and press ENTR when input password screen appear.
