Introduction Staph infection is caused by bacteria getting inside of an open wound This happens if you do not clean out your cut prior to the injury
Characteristics Staph infection could be boils, impetigo, cellulites, and staphylococcal scalded skin syndrome You can find staph bacteria in any open wound, but you can have the bacteria and sometimes never get infected
How do you get it? Staph infection is spread through people-to-people contact, If someone has a sore, and touches someone else then that person could get infected It is also caused by when bacteria gets into an open wound and is not properly cleared out It can be found anywhere on the body Where ever there is an open wound
Symptoms Staph infections can range from minor skin problems to endocarditis, a life-threatening infection of your heart valve lining. As a result, signs and symptoms of staph infections vary widely, depending on the location and severity of the infection.
Treatments Contact your doctor immediately if you think you have a staph infection You can also try following these steps: 1. Keep the infected area covered with clean, dry bandages. Pus from infected wounds is very 2. Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water, especially after changing your bandages or touching the infected skin. 3. Regularly clean your bathroom and personal items. Wash linens and clothes that become soiled with hot water and bleach, when possible.
