Straw Fuselage Big straw. Small straw. You can find these two straw sizes at Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. Cut the BIG straw roughly in half.
Straw Fuselage 1) Pinch and tape or hot glue one end of each straw half. No air should get through. We will be making a straw rocket and a straw glider. 2) Cut out a 2“ diameter circle out of paper of Foamie. 3) Cut the circle in half. 4) Wrap each half circle into a cone and tape or hot glue.
Straw Fuselage Hot glue the cone to the closed end of the BIG straw.
Integrate Parts Hot glue wings, tail and fins onto the BIG straw halves. Insert the small straw inside the big straw fuselage and blow! It may help to wrap a small rubber band around the front of the fuselage to control the center of gravity!
