Most member programs are community-based, privately funded programs. Statewide networks are supported by public and/or private partnerships. What is NCAN?

Coordinate and support the growth and sustainability of existing programs Develop new programs Provide technical assistance and professional development for boards of directors, executive directors & staff Advocacy for policies to support college access and success Direct social marketing campaigns such as KnowHow2GO Statewide Network Activities

Networking among stakeholders Fundraising (private and public funds) Communications (newsletter, e-mail listserv, webinars, websites for members, etc.) Seed grants for local college access programs Technical assistance (research, fundraising, evaluation, etc.) Professional development and training Advocacy Collateral Materials Conferences and workshops Other Network Activities
