LEONARDO DA VINCI PROJECT

Establishing a training course in computer graphics by Cordoba Academy in Spain over four weeks. Develop students' competences, practical skills, communication in English/Spanish, and compare with European courses. Activities include correspondence, informing students, selection, individual training, monitoring, logistical support, mobility in Spain, and dissemination. Results focus on professional skills, language skills, and social skills development validated by Europass certificates. Project team includes Elena-Genoveva Irimia, Vasile Diaconu, Alina Jilavu, Dorina Mormocea, Mariana Mândru, Viorica Cojoc, and 21 students. Criteria for student selection include age, informatics knowledge, communication skills, adaptability, and behavior.

  2. IT GRAPHICS FOR A BETTER CHANCE ON THE EUROPEAN MARKET WORK PURPOSE: To establish a training course in computer graphics by the Cordoba Academy organization in Spain, in a stream, over a period of four weeks

  3. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES • the development of students’ competences and abilities/skills in IT graphics, intended to facilitate their personal development as well as their access to jobs • capitalizing on theoretical knowledge through exercising the practical skills, through modern teaching facilities and cutting-edge applications • the development of communication skills in English / Spanish • comparing the skills acquired through initial training at similar courses by students of European countries in the same professional line

ACTIVITIES • the realisation of a correspondence between the training needs of the beneficiary, his training schedule and content of his development stage • informing students about the sectoral unit Leonardo da Vinci, about the project and about the criteria for selecting the target group • the realisation of the selection of the target group • providing individual training, language and culture for the recipients • providing the monitoring of the people receiving education • Providing logistical support for the beneficiaries (transport, accommodation, host organization • the realisation of the effective mobility in Spain • planning and carrying out dissemination activities.

  5. RESULTS • the development of the students’ professional skills with professional approach to computer graphics • the development of the langual skills in professional context • the development of the social skills • the validation of professional and langual skills by Europass certificates

  7. CRITERIA FOR THE SELECTION OF STUDENTS FOR THE MOBILITY - Pupils aged 16-17 years - Good knowledge of informatics - Very good communication skills in English - Adaptability to change - Responsible and civilized behavior
