Place the following steps to planting a tree in the correct order… Get a shovel and watering can Dig a hole Place the seedling in the hole so it’s straight and the roots don’t bend Fill in the hole with dirt (make sure there are no air pockets) Pack down the dirt around the seedling with your foot (make sure the seedling doesn’t pull out if you give it a light pull Water the seedling after planting Once planted, water the seedling once every 7-10 days • Fill in the hole with dirt • Place the seedling in the hole • Water the seedling right after planting • Get a shovel and watering can • Dig a hole • Water the seedling every 7-10 days • Pack down the dirt around the seedling with your foot
