Nice facts about amun ra • Amun Ra is the ultimate god. • Amun Ra was created by mixing Amunwith Ra. • Amun is a ram with extremely curved horns; rams signify fertility. • Amun was one of the eight ancient Egyptian gods. • He appears as a local god of the Theban region from at least the 11th dynasty when four rulers took the name Amenemhet or "Amun is pre-eminent."

Nice facts about amun ra • He is mentioned immediately after the pair of gods Nau and Nen, and in connection with the twin lion gods Shu and Tefnut, who are described as the two gods who made their own bodies, and with the goddess Temt, the female counter of Tem. • He is mentioned in a popular book. The character, Robert Langdon, in the novel, 'The Lost Symbol,’ explained to his students at Harvard University how he prayed to Ra during full moon nights with others who believed in this mystical Egyptian King.

However, Nubians of ancient Egypt believed that Amun took his birth in a place called Gebel Barkal in the northern part of present Sudan.
