Plan for a MICS dissemination strategy right from the start • Dissemination activities should be included in survey planning…and the survey budget • Involve communication colleagues from the start to support with sensitizing the population for MICS • Document key steps of the survey process with photos, videos, interviews, web pages, media articles, etc.

  4. MICS dissemination action plan Create awareness about MICS and interest in MICS data prior to data release • Organize national seminar – official release of final data • Engage media and journalists • Make MICS data widely available at the national, regional and international level
