District 21 motto 2010 / 12 / 14 • Visibility • Objectivity • Support • Develop communication and marketing • Responsibility, good leadership • Lasting resources require increased membership • Increase number of members interested in international engagement, increase representation of different professions in the clubs
Reminder of District 21 goals 2010-2012 Zonta International's main objective is to strengthen the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy • Zonta's visibility within the district will increase • By sharing with ourselves and our skills, we will make Zonta visible and, thus, contribute to the fulfillment of Zonta'saims • We want to raise the interest in our national and international scholarhips. This way, we will be able to give economic, moral and human support to young women • We want to improve women's right to good health and legal status by informing objectively about legislative changes and its meaning both internally within our organization and externally, by contributing to dissemination of information and by keeping us informed on how laws are followed • We want to focus on and make service projects and Zonta's collaboration with UN agencies visible and known. An example is the campaign "Zonta Zom Zamlar Zlantar" (=ZontiansCollecting Coins). Through this campaign District 21 aims to raise funds for about 1 000 000 SEK in a 12-month period (from March 8 a year to March 8 the following year). Donations to selected projects shall amount to about 65 USD per member per year • Through our commitment and credibility, we want to rejuvenate and increase membership in our organization. Above all, we want to keep and care about our existing members • Membership increase by at least one member per club per year
