  1. Are you also doing Sunscreen Mistakes? Benefits for sunscreen, sunscreen, skin protection, supple skin, glowing skin, summer skin routine, sunscreen body lotion, Sunscreen is a very essential skincare product in the summer skin routine that helps to provide a protective layer to your skin from the harmful UVA and UV rays of the sun. However, still many make the common mistake of not applying the product right and end up getting tanned or sunburned. Therefore we have pointed out some of the common sunscreen body lotion mistakes so that you won’t repeat them. Applying a Thin Layer of Sunscreen When you apply a thin layer of sunscreen, it isn’t very effective to protect your skin from damaging sun rays. Experts recommend applying at least a shot glass full of sunscreen to completely guard the skin and to get a brightening glowing skin. Avoiding Sunscreen on Cloudy Days Most people believe that sunscreen is only necessary when they are going under the sun, and they can skip it when they are in shade or the weather is cloudy. It is a misconception you need skin protection even if you are not directly facing the sun. This is because 80% of the UV rays can still hit your skin and affect your skin when you are under shade or the sky is cloudy. Using Sunscreen less than SPF 30 If you are using sunscreen with an SPF value of less than 30, then that product is of no use to protect your skin. The larger the SPF value, the better it will provide skin protection against harmful sun rays.

  2. You’re Not Reapplying it The skin loses the protective shield of the sunscreen due to excessive sweat in summer, hence, you must re-apply for the sunscreen frequently. Experts recommend applying sunscreen every 2 hours according to the SPF and the texture of the sunscreen you are using. Missed to Apply on Important Areas To extract all the benefits of sunscreen, you must consider it applying to all the important parts like eyelids and lips. The lip area has supple skin and is hence more prone to sun damage. Therefore, it is best to use lip balm with at least SPF 15 to protect your lips from harmful sun radiation. You must apply sunscreen religiously regardless of the season for better skin protection. Do your research before choosing the right kind of sunscreen for your skin. In case of any confusion consult your dermatologists.
