  2. Meadowlark Lemon’s Inspiration Meadowlark Lemon is an athlete, entertainer, motivator. He was born on April 25th, 1932 in Wilmington, North Carolina. One day he was watching television when he was 11, and he saw a video of the Harlem Globetrotters team play basketball so he ran home to tell his father what he had seen and he was determined to be on the Harlem Globetrotters' team. He was in the basketball Hall of Fame in 2003. in basketball games all over the world, meadowlark lemon stared for the Harlem Globetrotters. He played in 1955-1980 and after playing for other teams for a while, Meadowlark Lemon came back to playing with the Harlem Globetrotters in 1994. Still today people love seeing him play basketball.

  3. Lemon’s Life Meadowlark Lemon became an ordained minister in 1986. He was given the John Bunn Award in 2000 Hall of Fame in 2003. Meadowlark’s wife is named Cynthia, she is a doctor. Lemon has been to 94 countries and over 10,000 games with only the Harlem Globetrotters. He is known as the “clown prince”, because he is so hilarious on and off the court.

  4. The Actor Side of Lemon Meadowlark Lemon was in many movies, he has been in Scooby Doo, The Fish that Saved Pittsburgh, The Today Show, The Tonight Show, Popcorn Machine and a lot more. He has also been in many commercials too such as band-aid commercials, underwear commercials, all sorts of drink commercials, and fast food commercials.

  6. Curator’s Office • My name is Kayden. I was born on June 26, 2002. My favorite color is red and my favorite animal is a tiger. Also my favorite sport is basketball, and I go to Salem Elementary School. I admire Meadowlark Lemon because he doesn’t brag, he just does whatever for the fun of it. He has impacted my life because he teaches people to not give up and you can do anything.
