Step 1 • Open your completed PowerPoint file. • Click Save As • Verify the title and change the Save as type to JPEG File Interchange Format (*jpg) • Click Save • Choose EVERY SLIDE when it asks you about exporting the slides. • You will now have a separate folder saved in that location that holds your slides. Each slide is now a separate JPEG file.
Step 2 • Open PhotoStory. • Import your pictures into PhotoStory by finding your folder you just created. • You can import them ALL at one time by clicking on the first slide, HOLDING YOUR SHIFT KEY, and then selecting the last slide. (Make sure your list is in DETAILS view.)
If you would like to NARRATE your movie, you must have a microphone connected to your computer. You are able to record your narration for each slide.
Customize Motion-PhotoStory automatically applies motion to your photos. If you do NOT want these transitions, you MUST go into Customize Motion to change it. • Check the box Specify start and end position of motion AND resize the 2nd box to include the entire area.
If you don’t narrate your movie you can choose how long to display each slide on this same screen. • Make sure you SAVE all changes to each slide. • You can also choose to add music to your movie on the Add background music page. • Once your music is finished, you will then move to Step 3 to SAVE your movie.
Step 3 • To save your movie, you will need to complete these last steps. • Choose Save your story to playback on your computer. • Under File Name, you will need to name your movie and choose the location to save your movie. • Click on NEXT and your story will be created!
You can then choose to view your story or create a new one. 5. You may also want to consider SAVING your PROJECT if you ever want to edit it for future use.
