What are lymphocites: Lymphocites are white blood cells which are part of the immune system, there are 3 main types of lymphocites: natural killer cells (TK), T cells and B cells. Characteristics: a lymphocite has a large dark staining nucleus. The density of a lymphocite nucleus is approximately the size of a red blood cell.
What do lymphocites do? Lymphocites create antibodies to kill bacterias or viruses, they also create memory cells that remember the type of virus or bacteria that was detected so it can take care of the virus if it would ever reach the body again (in other words it produces immunity if the virus or bacteria didnt evolved).
