  3. Red Folder The red folder will travel to and from school every day. You will find: • Logs and Graphs that Must be Signed or Initialed • School Rules • Papers to Sign and Return

  4. Webpage • Newsletter • Homework Assignments • Math Notes • Daily Schedule • Resources to Practice Learned Skills at Home

  5. ClassDojo On-Line Behavior Notification System Tracks: • Classroom Manners • Missing Homework • Late Assignments • Staying on Task Parents will Receive an Email Invite and a Passcode to View Their Child’s Daily Behavior.

  6. ELA • Nightly Reading and Log Initialed by Parent/Guardian • Journal Responses for Each Book Read • Track AR Grades and Points On-line • Fluency Practice using Scholastic News • Vocabulary/Spelling Assignments

  7. Math • On-line Textbook Access • Nightly Homework in Workbook • On-line Notes on Class Webpage • Interactive Math Notebook • Practice Multiplication Facts until Fluent • Points Back for Test Corrections

  8. Math Test Corrections To earn ½ points back: • Corrections must be in by Due Date • Corrections must be in Proper Format (found in red folder) • Corrections must be Numbered • Corrections must be Neat • Corrections must be Correct

  9. Other Useful Information… • Lunch On-Line Prepay- allows parents to monitor and refill student lunch accounts. No money lost in transition from home to school. • Weekly Celebrations- students earn rewards each week for meeting learning goals. • Absences and Tardies- much learning time is lost due to tardies and absences. Please be on time and only miss school when sick. • Forms- always complete required paperwork and return promptly.
