Byline • a printed line accompanying a news story, article, or the like, giving the author's name.
Copy • written matter intended to be reproduced in printed form:
Cover • to act as a reporter or reviewer of (an event, a field of interest, a performance, etc.); have as an assignment:
Cover Story • A featured story in a magazine that concerns the illustration on the cover
Credit Line • a line of text acknowledging the source or origin of published or exhibited material.
Dateline • a line giving the place of origin and usually the date of a news dispatch or the like.
Deadline • The time by which something must be finished or submitted; the latest time for finishing something: a five o'clock deadline.
Edit • To collect, prepare, and arrange (materials) for publication.
Editor • The supervisor or conductor of a department of a newspaper, magazine, etc.: the sports editor of a newspaper.
Editorial • An article in a newspaper or other periodical presenting the opinion of the publisher, editor, or editors.
